Goals and Objectives

GOALS

External: Kalamazoo Garden Council will work to increase community connections and support for community organizations to enhance our environment.
Internal: Kalamazoo Garden Council Board of Directors will work to improve connections with and support for its nine member clubs and other area garden clubs.

The primary objectives of KGC shall be:

To coordinate the interest of member clubs for purposes which are solely charitable, scientific and educational
To advance the art of landscape design, floral design, horticulture, to increase knowledge of natural sciences and promote the protection and conservation of natural resources
To promote organization of new clubs and to collaborate with and introduce member clubs to organizations with like objectives
To promote civic beautification and educational opportunities within our community
