THE CAROLINE GRAY AWARD OF MERIT

A $50.00 award is given to one small, one medium, one large and one extra-large garden club participating in an outstanding project with school-age children in the area of horticulture, nature study, conservation, flower arranging, beautification or civic concern.

LOUISE ADAMS CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION AWARD

($200 Matching-Funds Awards)
Kalamazoo Garden Council encourages its member garden clubs to be actively involved in civic beautification projects. It has established a program to financially assist garden clubs in beautifying and maintaining a specific site within the community. This award money may be used to help offset the cost of plant material (flowers, shrubs, trees, bulbs, groundcover), mulch, stone, edging or other materials used in landscaping, garden beds, or in container gardening. It may also be used for equipment necessary in maintaining the area, such as hoses, stakes, labels, signs, etc.

Louise Adams Award Project Guidelines: See KGC website, www.kalamazoogardencouncil.org, for complete project guidelines and forms.

For any questions please contact the KGC Finance Chair

THE KGC TRIBUTE FUND

The KGC Tribute Fund was established in 2018 as a way to honor
clubs, members or individuals. A framed list is posted at the council house and tribute fund thank you cards are mailed out to the donors. Tribute funds are used exclusively for council house landscaping as recommended by the tribute fund committee and approved by the KGC Board of Directors.
