NGC and MGC SCHOOLS: Environmental School, Gardening School, Landscape Design School, and Flower Show School
KGC provides a 50% registration fee reimbursement to any member and first-time attendee who successfully passes one of four courses in each of the four NGC schools. To comply with IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit regulations, all KGC funding must benefit the mission of the organization, not just an individual member. To qualify, participants are asked to voluntarily agree to share what they have learned with others in their club and community as opportunities become available. Participants are asked to complete the form located on the KGC website and notify the KGC Treasurer upon course completion to receive reimbursement. The Council encourages participation in any or all the schools as a way to increase member knowledge and become a Consultant or Flower Show Judge upon completion of all four courses in a school.
2021 Gardening Study School is being hosted on Zoom by our own Council. The Garden School Committee is Denise Clegg and Jeanette Meyer. Council Members are offered priority registration before sign-up opens to everyone. Course III registration is tentatively scheduled for July 2021.
