Our annual Kalamazoo Garden Council Annual Meeting will be held at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation Pavilion in Markin Glen Park, located in the area behind the Council House on Tuesday, June 14th at 10:00 am.,
The cost this year will be $25.00 and include a wonderful salad luncheon with many choices available on site. There will be a mixed greens salad with several extras and poppyseed dressing; a layered salad with chicken, bacon, and mayo based dressing; the best coleslaw in the area; a fresh fruit salad; veggies and dip; tortilla chips and salsa; a popular flavoured quick bread (butter, cinnamon sugar) from Costco; white and chocolate cake with filling; lemonade, iced tea, and water.
This is our Annual Membership Meeting, and we will be electing and installing some new Directors on the Board of Directors. Please come, vote, and support them. Carol Brodbeck, past MGC president, will be our featured speaker on the topic, “Horticulture in the Flower Show.” Please reserve your spot as soon as possible and prepare to come celebrate Flag Day and all American Gardeners with us!
